Dish Towel Tutorial - June Edition: Chasing Crocodiles - 12 Months of Pretty Kitchen Towels

In May, the 12 Months of Pretty Kitchen Towels series debuted here. Now it is time to introduce the June edition!

The May kitchen towel was trimmed with ruffle and ribbon.  The June edition is less frilly and more fun.  It is trimmed with just a bit of blue and yellow ribbon in one corner.  The left and right edges are machine embroidered with golden yellow loops and alligators.

Making new dish towels a creative, inexpensive, and easy way to give your kitchen a face lift!  Here is a link to the Kitchen Towels tutorial if you'd like to make your own.  It is a great project for a beginner sewer too!  All you need is a sewing machine, scissors, muslin, and a little imagination.

I hope you enjoy making some new dish towels for your kitchen.  Here's a hint regarding the upcoming July edition:  Remember the Kitchen Curtains tutorial?  Well, the curtains match the July towel perfectly!
